By any chance have you checked out today’s date? 10-11-12! How cool is that?! Well I wanted to know if this day really meant anything. Of course I turned to USA Today to find out my answer. Here are a few facts I found interesting!
date
how significant is the date? Those who study numbers say, well, not too much. Or perhaps it’s better to say that it’s as significant as you want it to be. {Boo I want it to mean something haha.}

Significant enough to influence your wedding date? At one wedding chapel in Las Vegas, Forever Grand at the MGM Resorts, there’s a special numerology package, including a chapel, a pianist, a minister, and a limo to the courthouse, among other things. {Did you guys think of this kind of stuff when you got married? I sure didn’t when I picked my date}

How rare is the day? After all, there will be a neat moment right around the time many alarm clocks ring at 07:08:09, on 10-11-12.

But won’t it be better later this year, on Dec. 12, when we will have 12:12:12 on 12-12-12?
Man I didn’t even think of 12-12-12 have you guys?

There are some events taking place today:
The U.S. vice-presidential debate.
At the United Nations, the day has been declared the International Day Of The Girl Child, recognizing girls’ rights and the challenges they face around the world.
Also, the Jonas Brothers are returning to the stage after three years with a one-night show at Radio City Music Hall.

Questions: Does today mean anything to you? Are you going to buy a lottery ticket? Are you going to watch the clock until 07:08:09 just to see it?

That’s cool! I never think about stuff like that. I go as far as 11:11 for my magi number :-) . No lottery ticket here – good luck to anyone who did!

I would never think to get married on those dates. I actually didn’t think about the date really when we chose it. I just figured I’d love anything that we picked haha.. because I had to! My mom and dad got married on Halloween.. now that is weird too! haha.

Love this post – I’m such a numbers nerd! My hubby’s 25th birthday was on 10-10-10 and I made waaaaaay to big a deal out of it; I planned a surprise trip and everything. :)
