You’ve probably heard of a lot of them, I’m talking about subscription boxes. I’ve never heard of a paleo one though until now!
Cave Cravings works with companies that only use natural, organic ingredients and then delivers a box of samples to your door. Let’s take a look inside…
My favorite items inside were these Caveman Cookies. They were the perfect little snack. I don’t know how they stay so soft but they do! The flavor is oatmeal-raisin. It is made with honey, almond flour and cinnamon. I highly recommend these to anyone that is trying to live a Paleo lifestyle and needs a treat!
My next favorite thing in the box were these Bearded Brother Energy Bars. My favorite one was the Might Maca Chocolate, of course. Both were good though. The ‘bars’, it was more like a cube, are made with Mexican cocoa, sweetened cacao and maca. Did it give me energy? I guess so. Whenever I eat something though I feel a little bit more energized.
There were more Bearded Brothers energy bars in the box. Unfortunately, they are lemon and I don’t do lemon. The card that came in the box says that it is made with organic sun butter, hemp seeds and cold pressed lemon extract.
Next up: Mini Coco-Roons. I am not usually a coconut fan but the Vanilla Maple kind was delicious (like above I don’t like lemon). I was surprised that a serving was 3 coco-roons because I wanted to eat the whole bag in one sitting.
I was really excited to try these Jerky Chews. I’m not usually a jerky fan so I wasn’t sure if I was going to like them or not, I didn’t. I couldn’t even finish the bag. I’m sure they are good to jerky lovers though! The jerky is 100% grass-fed beef.
Overall, I liked the thought of this box. I love that it is Paleo and has clean food inside. I didn’t like all of the lemon flavor but that is just a personal preference. I’m sure every month is different.
Every month the box includes the following:
- Baked and Sweet Items
- Cereals and Granola
- Chips and Crackers
- Squeeze Pouches
- Trail and Nut Mixes
I’d recommend at least trying the box out if you are interested.
Now its your turn: What do you think of a paleo only box? What product inside are you most interested in trying?
