I got this months Shape Magazine in the mail the other day so of course I skimmed through it right away and came up with some awesome blog posts…
this is one of them:![]()
hahaha. This cracked me up when I read it… Pinnercise really? Well that definitely defines me. I feel like I’m always pinning exercises that I never complete.. .but hey you never know when you are going to need one right?
I mean lets check out my Pinterest boards!![]()
I have so many different boards. TONS of Wedding Boards… TONS of food boards. { I used to have just one board for foods but it seriously had like 1000 pins so I had to split them up a little.}
I mean lets take a look at the stats:![]()
51 boards.. over 2000 pins… wow that is crazy! I guess I do a little bit more than Pinnercise{ing} right.. haha.
I only have a little over 20 pins on my Workout board but I do plan on using them one day. haha… hopefully! Unlike probably all the food I have pinned. I’d have to make them everyday for like 5 years to make all of them haha.
I remember when I first learned about pinterest I was all over it and spent hours beyond hours on it.. Now honestly I just pin recipes and workouts I see on other peoples blogs that I want to remember. I always turn to it now when I want to find a recipe to make or if I’m looking for some food ideas for the week. It is the perfect website. Definitely a girls dream come true… right?
So now the question you need to ask yourself: Do you Pinnercise?
Questions: Do you love pinterest? Did you join when you first heard about it or did you wait awhile? What do you usually pin?
PS: You should probably follow me on Pinterest! (:

Oh, this has definitely happened to me with magazine pages. Self magazine is great for those tear out cards, and I have a pile of them… but I don’t use them too much. They’re physically pinned to my bulletin board, so I suppose that is pinnercising.
oh that definitely is pinnercising! (:
I read that in Shape, too! I pin workouts for when I can’t get to the gym – that’s when they really come in handy!
I like pinterest. I didn’t get on board with it until recently and I pin things to keep a wish list or a record of recipes I want to try. It’s my new way of bookmarking things on the internet. So I’ve found it very useful and interesting but I certainly don’t pinnercise. lol. I have pinned some fitness moves or skills that look really BA and are on my fitness bucket list, though.
I used to be soooo badly addicted to pinning!!! I’ve slowed a bit though recently! It’s so much fun though!!!
I do it, I admit…but I do work my tail off at the gym
haah. there you go! then its okay!(:
I was Pinterest crazy at first. Then I found I spent way too much time on it and was making too any amazing, delcious, fattening foods! I have found that since I discovered blogging there is no time pinning.
same here!
My pinning is embarrassing. I need 12 steps or something.
Hahaha so much pinning! I don; think I pin all that many workouts, but I could be wrong. I find it much more a place for food porn
This is very insightful. I definitely do it. I know it’s ironic, but I’m pinning this post
haha love it! (:
Uh oh, I think I”m guilty of this.. although I pin more food than exercise things… thank GOD I don’t eat all the food I pin or else I’d be as big as the building I live in! haha
I am def guilty of this! I pinterest when I am down and usually do a bunch at a time! I pin more food than workouts but have only done like one of the workouts I pinned.
I also sometimes pin the same thing more than once… Whoops!
You have waffle board
I DONT…but I probably should
Haha that is funny and SO true. I have 4 boards (exercises, recipes, and 2 wedding boards) and truthfully I haven’t actually made a single recipe, exercise or wedding pin for inspiration yet. But I still love pinning and how motivated it makes me feel!
