It’s starting to look and feel a lot like fall around here.
The weather is getting cooler and we bought some of these:

Cute huh? We bought some leaves from target and the pumpkins and candy corn from Giant. Then we put it all together. The original plan was to put the pumpkins inside the vase but well they didn’t fit haha. Bad judgment call there. It still ended up pretty cute though!

These bad boys! Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies! YUM!
I made them today and well I’m going to share the awesome recipe with you guys! Who is excited?! Woot Woot!
Everything in the picture is what you need plus an egg. {forgot that}
This recipe makes about 2 Dozen cookies.
Now lets get into the steps:
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine butter and sugar. Beat until fluffy.
3. Add pumpkin, egg, and vanilla. Beat until Combined.
4. Add all remaining ingredients except for the oats and chocolate chip and mix on low until well-blended batter forms.
5. Stir in oats and chips.
6. Put spray on a baking sheet. Drop tablespoon-sized rounds of batter onto the sheet. The cookies don’t spread too much so you can put them pretty close together.
7. Bake 12-15 minutes, until you can see some light browning on the bottom.
8. Let cool. Then EAT EAT EAT! You will love them and that is a promise!

I love anything that has pumpkin in it! I’ll have to give this recipe a try with left over pumpkin that I didn’t use over the weekend. I found a GREAT Pumpkin Zucchini Bread recipe that even my kids loved!!

Haha, that’s incredibly tempting. I didn’t end up making them this weekend (that whole half marathon thing got the best of my energy), but I will DEFINITELY be trying these soon.
