So if you didn’t know already… I Love Fairs! 2 years ago I went to every single one in my area. This year I want to go to a majority of them and having Friday nights off of work might make that happen! (:
I was already at the Elizabethtown Fair.
Now it is time for the York Fair.
Friday night after work we met up with some friends and headed to York. The York Fair is huge! Double the size of most in the area.
It has rides, food, animals, musical acts {including Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton.} and a lot more!
The first thing we did when we got there was head to the dunk tank. Of course the guys had to feel macho! (:
I don’t know if you have seen this guy at other fairs but they put this guy dressed up as a clown on the hot seat and he says mean things to you. {like you throw like a girl, etc.} I usually stay clear from him because its just not nice. The boys though wanted to dunk him. They got him down 4 times… they kept saying they could’ve got him down more if it they were throwing softballs and not baseballs… haha but they did it and we were oh so proud of them!
We played some games. Where Yohe won Katie this cute pig:
Then we ate fair food! My favorite part of any fair!
I got an ice cream waffle sandwich! OMG So delicious and Eric got a sausage sandwich. {He really likes posing for pictures can’t you see?}
Next: Game Time! 
We started with the candy game. This is my favorite game at the fairs and I knew York Fair had it so I was excited to play! What you do is put 25 cents or a coin that they give you onto a number. He spins the wheel. You win either 2, 4 or 12 candy bars. It took me awhile to win but I finally did! {Then I stole one of Eric’s winning tickets to get some treats.}
Ring pop, Sour Patch Kids, Snicker Squares, and a Take5. Yummy. {Oh Hey Yohe.}
Next up was a new to me game!
What you did was take those balls and throw them at the back board and then it fell into one of the notches. You wanted to get 5 in a row like bingo. It was a fun and relaxing game. I won once but so did 2 other people so I only got 3 free games but Yohe and Steve won and got some pretty sweet prizes. 
Our next mission a water gun game! 
Don’t worry we found one! (: $20 later and Eric won me a doggy stuffed animals to give to the boys {Harleyyy and Hunter} I think they already destroyed it though. 
After the water game it was like 10pm so we grabbed all of our wins… 
…and headed to the car!
It was such a great night! Awesome company, good food, and tons of laughs!
What could be better?
I really feel like Eric and I have found a great group of people to hang out with! (:

Love the fair! Looks like you all had a lot of fun. Water gun game….the only one you can possibly win is fun….but I agree.you gotta play the wheel for candy!

I have never been to the York Fair. Okay maybe when I was young but I don’t really remember it. We always went to the Marysville Carnival each year. I still can taste those funnel cakes.
I never heard of that carnival! I must do my research! (: I usually go to the Lancaster County fairs and then of course the York Fair. haha.

To me, ice cream waffel sandwiches scream FAIR! Great choice! My mom and I used to get them when she took me to the Canadian National Exhibition.

I love going to fairs! I don’t play a lot of games, but I definitely eat a lot of the food! It’s one of my favorite parts of summer!!
