Time for a weekend recap because we just did so many great things this past weekend. By the way I am blogging to you from my new desk that I made. ![]()
One thing I have learned about from CrossFit is posture is very important and since I just sit around on a chair all day at work and when I’m home I lay in bed I decided to change things up a bit and sit on a workout ball to work on my stability. So now I can workout and blog at the same time… Awesome thinking right?
Saturday:
I worked overnight and went to the Lupus Loop. {You can catch my awesome recap there.}
After coming home and taking a 3 hour much needed nap we went out with our friends Bobbi Jo and Steve.
We first went to Subway where I got the baked chicken with lettuce, tomato and honey mustard on a flatbread. {my usual}
Then we went to the movies and saw this:

I loveeeeeddddd it. Definitely A+ material! I love Clint Eastwood and of course Justin Timberlake was in it so duhhh it was good! haha. I cried… a lot though! Eric didn’t notice until the end of the movie and I asked him if my makeup was okay haha. You definitely need to see it! {and then let me know how much you loved it}
Then we came home and went straight to bed… {old couple.. I know}
Sunday:
This was a Fall Fest Day! I first told you about this Sunday morning and I couldn’t wait to go. It was raining a little bit here and there but was totally worth it!
We had pretty far back seats but on a hill. You couldn’t really see the stage that much because of some canopies that were set up to cover the audio equipment but having off on a Sunday, sitting outside in fall, listening to country music with my future family {Eric’s Mom and Stepdad came}… you can’t beat it. Josh Turner was of course the best act. The other ones were just okay.
We did end up getting Stephanie Grace’s autograph though!![]()
Thanks Steph for the Meet and Greets!
We were at FallFest from about 11am-6pm so when we got home we quick threw some dinner down our throats and headed to bed. It was such a busy exciting weekend! Definitely one I didn’t take for granted. I loved every minute of spending time with family and friends, competing in a race and enjoying some much needed time off with Eric.
Questions: What is the next movie you are going to see? Do you like country concerts? Have you ever met a singer?

Love country! Last night I saw the taken 2 and it was pretty good! Very intense! Lol!! Happy tuesday, love!
Eric and I were going to go see that yesterday but decided its to cold to go outside haha. That is definitely the next movie we are going to go see though! Taken 1 was actually on tv Sunday night! Love that movie!
I looooooooooove country! I have yet to attend a concert though!
I really want to see that! I love country music. I’ve met a few artists but not a country singer
I met Hanson when I was in high school. I’m pretty sure I behaved like a high schooler too! haha.
Sounds like a fabulous weekend! I’m going to have to try that sitting on a stability ball and blogging thing lol!
Might take you up on the movie suggestion. I have not seen anything since Batman. But I feel not much has been out. Love the stability ball idea…I always say I want to bring one to my office. Maybe I will!
I love country but my husband doesn’t so I don’t drag him to any concerts.
I did meet Tracy Byrd many years ago. I think that makes me seem old. LOL
I haven’t seen a movie in the theater since Hunger Games but I bet I’ll go see Twilight when it comes out.
How cool you got to see Josh Turner! I love him!
he is soooo sexy! haha.
