Today is foodie PenPal reveal day woot woot!
This month I was paired up with Catherine. She is from tennessee and sent me a whole bunch of local things which is such a good idea! I think I need to become more aware of local businesses that make the things that I eat everyday and buy from them ASAP!
Once again I was so excited to get my gift in the mail. Like I say time and time again it really is like Christmas every month.
I started by reading her cute note that she sent me explaining the reasons she sent me what she did. Now let’s dig into the food!
Mmm moon pies. When I showed this to my mom she was like “omg I haven’t had one of these in forever” haha I never had one so when Cat explained it like this “chocolate covered marshmallow and graham cracker” I knew it would be wonderful! Now if a plant like that lived near me… We would have problems haha. She said they originated in Chattanooga, tn and all i could think about after that word was teen mom and Maci. Haha sad I know. Haha.
Next up: Jack Daniels. The famous distillery is located just minutes from where she lives. She picked me up a cute cup, magnet, and a goo goo cluster which is made up of milk chocolate, peanuts, marshmallow, and caramel. Yum! (that is from Nashville)
Also in the box: 2 alarm chili and a ranch dressing… Both all natural.
Smoothies and honey! I can’t wait to use that honey! I always run out so quick! Andddddd she even sent me some of these:
RECIPE CARDS: yay I love to get new recipes. She sent me one for puppy chow which is seriously like one of my favorite things ever and one for a low fat chicken dip! I can’t wait to try it!

Ps: I’m still without Internet! That will be coming on Saturday so I’m blogging whenever I get a chance to go to Starbucks (where I am now) or if I have some time I try to get to work early to post… Its kinda crazy at the moment. So hang in there with me as i know these posts look weird haha.

What an awesome box! And I love moon pies! We have them around here at Mardi Gras time! I always try to catch moon pies and cups at the parades!

what a fun and creative foodie pen pal box!! i sure love being one! i think it’s so fun!! i love all the variety you got in your box. the kids i nanny for are moon pie freaks. it’s hilarious. we get them in the bulk boxes at sam’s club! hahaha.
