Hip Hop Dance Experience

Ever since I got this great opportunity to become a Ubichamp I have been played my share of dancing Wii games! First Just Dance 4 then Just Dance Disney and now Hip Hop Dance Experience.

Obviously this one was kind of different than the other two but still kind of the same. This video game has about 40 different songs that seriously range in years. It has everything from TLC to current music like ‘I’m Sexy and I know It’ to ‘hip hop horray’

There are four different modes that you can play!
Dance Party Mode. This one you can just dance to whatever song you decided to pick.
Dance Battle Mode. In this mode you can play against one of your friends to see who has the best dance skills.
Power Skooling Mode. This just concentrates on perfecting a move.
Dance Marathon Mode. The mode that is definitely a workout you dance to a bunch of songs until your score drops below a certain point. Then the game is over.

My favorite was the Dance Marathon Mode. The songs get harder as you play and before you know it you can’t keep up.. okay or maybe that is just me but I couldn’t keep up haha.

I danced to a couple of songs. One of which was ‘Hot in Herre’ by Nelly. {old school!} My score was pretty awesome!

Pros:
-The one thing I really liked about this game than the other dancing games I have played was you can not only watch a dancer from behind but straight on to! This made it a lot easier to figure out what the heck they were doing!
-Scoring was pretty good. Sometimes I felt like I was way off but it didn’t deduct a whole bunch haha.
-You can definitely get a workout playing this game!

Cons:
-To scroll through the songs you couldn’t use the control pad you had to use the finger on the screen and point. That was hard.
-The hard levels are HARD! I mean they are moving so fast there is no way a normal person could keep up.

I definitely liked this game! I would play it again and I want to check out what it is like to play against people! I heard the battle mode is pretty sweet and you not only dance against the other person you steal their points! The competitive side of me would definitely be coming out then!

I would suggest anyone that likes a good dancing game to buy this one. You can but it at Toys R Us or Amazon for Wii or Xbox Kinect.
