First things first if you haven’t put an entry in for my giveaway you will want to do it! (:
Now onto Day 3 of The Healthy Living Summit.
It started with a banana bread soy joy. Gosh I’m in love with them! ![]()
The group of 6 of us then met downstairs in the lobby to get ready for a 3 mile run. We headed outside started with a little walk. ![]()

and then we were off. I got some more good views of our surroundings.

After the run I headed upstairs to our room to change quick and put on my Reeboks!![]()
Then we headed to breakfast. They had a lot of yummy foods. ![]()
One of which was the Wild Harvest Recipe Winner. Remember when I made my first granola bars that I submitted? Well I didn’t win but Kelly did! YAY! (:
![]()
Of course I had to grab some of her food and more! ![]()
The cool thing about this lunch is that Wild Harvest supplied us with recipe cards with the recipes they made for us. Now I can make Kelly’s recipe whenever I want! (:![]()
Breakfast had some extra time to mingle and introduce the actual beginning of HLS.

Right after breakfast was our CrossFit class by Reebok! It was so much fun. Our WOD (workout of the day) 7 air squats and 15 jumps AMRAP (as many reps as possible) in 5 minutes. I think I got about 12 but it was really hard to count haha. I loved the workout the Reebok guys made it so much fun! We even got really cute headbands out of it. You can check it out on my head after the workout with MIN! (:
After the workout the sessions started. {I’ll be giving detailed descriptions of these then since most of you guys weren’t there}![]()
My first one was Hosting A Virtual Challenge with Amanda. I never really thought about hosting one before but she made it seem really fun and exciting. It was awesome to find out how she started with a couple hundred people and now she gets a couple thousand. ![]()
My next session was Blog Design Bootcamp led by Julie Grice of Savvy Blog Services and Savvy Eats. This was a lot of help! I am excited to start changing the look of itsaharleyyylife when I get some extra time on my hands though. {I feel like I have been just drowned in these HLS posts but I want to share them!}
I had a muffin during the previous session so I wasn’t hungry when it was time to eat so I headed upstairs to take a nap instead. I was beat. When I woke up I realized we were already halfway through the Keynote speaker {whoops} so I ate some pretzels with peanut butter ![]()
and then headed back downstairs for the afternoon sessions. ![]()
Next was the Newbie Q & A session. That was with Courtney Horan from Sweet Tooth Sweet Life will be leading the session, joined by a panel of wonderful women: Sarah of The Smart Kitchen, Alicia from The Wannabe Foodie, and Chase from The Chase Project. I didn’t really find it extremely helpful since most of the talk was about switching over your blog from wordpress.com to a self hosted blog which I already did. It was still interesting to hear how they got started though.![]()
The last session was the best one. Social Media: Keeping up with the Trends with Heather Montgomery from Running with Sass. She was awesome! I learned SOOOOO much! I have even started using some of it but haven’t be able to do them all yet! I didn’t know half the things she taught me using facebook pages, instagram, and twitter!
Then that was it! We headed to the closing ceremonies and I won this sweet tank top! I love it. So adorable! ![]()
After the sessions it was time for Ultimate Boot Camp. I didn’t take any pictures but it was SOOOO hard. I guess the word Ultimate before Boot Camp really made a difference! It was nothing like the Boot Camp classes I have taken before. There was a lot more running and my legs were already killing me from all of the workouts already this week! After it was over though I loved it! (:
I grabbed a shower, a quick dinner, watched a movie and headed to bed. I was so tired! It was a long day with 4 sessions of learning and 3 workouts!
and that was Day 3!
