I can’t believe it. Can you guys? Fair season is here and I am loving every minute of it!
The Elizabethtown Fair started this week so of course I had to go. {2 years ago I tried to go to every fair in the Susquehanna Valley. I got to most of them.} My favorite part about the fairs of course is the FOOD! Anyone with me?
When we first got there that was our first mission! I started with a corn dog. {I never had one and I don’t know if I’ll ever need one again. haah. Plus they don’t look good in a picture. 
Next we walked around and played some games. Eric threw at a dunk tank and the person got wet. haha. He just loves doing that. 
Then we tried to win a goldfish… that didn’t happen but we had fun trying! (:
We walked around some more before stopping at my favorite stand! 
Yay my first pumpkin food of the season. Fall is almost here my friends! (: 
Check out that bad boy! I got cinnamon and sugar on top of it. It was delicious! I seriously ate half of it myself! (:
My stepmom got this awesome sandwich. 
3 different kinds of pig, coleslaw, and cheese in a bun. It looked delicious!
We walked around a little more and played some more games. 
My dad won me this doggy! Meet Henry. Hunter loves chewing on him and trying to get the bone in his mouth!
Then we checked out the animals!
But don’t worry I stayed away from the pigs. No swine flu for me!
It was a great night and I am so excited that fair season is underway! Definitely the best part of the year!

oh man! fairs were seriously the highlight of my life when i was a kid!! i would eat cotton candy and “fair fries” covered in cheese and vinegar until i thought i would bust! i really loved to ride the scrambler with my sister and try to win prizes by playing those goofy games (like tossing darts at balloons and bowler roller etc.) what a great time! haha
yummy! I still love those games. ecsp the one where you point the water gun at the little hole to see who’s animal crosses the line first! andddd I love that ride where you stand with your back against the wall thing and it spins around in circles a lot and you get sucked against the wall! best thing ever!
YES! I love fall fairs! My family has tradition of going to one every Thanksgiving weekend and I always look forward to it. There are duck races, lumberjack competitions, and so many other ridiculous things but I still love it.
I know! for all those reasons I love them to. Last year I was in a Hay Bail toss competition.. where else can you do that? haha!
I’m not much of a fair person but I love to go just to watch how much my husband and children enjoy themselves.
Mmmm, funnel cakes are THE best fair foods!

I always forget that you are from Pennsylvania! I used to LOVE going to the E-town fair! I’m a little.. okay A LOT jealous of your funnel cake. I don’t know who came up w/ the idea, but they are a pure genius!!
