On Sunday we knocked off a lot of fun activities on our Fall Bucket List… Lets take a second to go back to that list…
Hay Ride… Check
Pumpkin Patch… Check
Corn Maze… Check
Are you excited? Yah? Well I am! So lets go!![]()
Katie, Yohe, Eric and I went on the adventure. We started by buying our wristbands to do all the fun stuff and of course some animal feed. ![]()
![]()
Thanks babe for putting on my wristband for me! (: {He said I put his on really tight… I just didn’t want him to lose it and not be able to do all the exciting things with us!} ![]()
The first thing we came across was a lassoing station. Yohe was a lot better than Eric. {You could see the video I posted yesterday of Eric trying… FAIL}![]()
![]()
There were a ton of animals there but these were the first ones we saw. ![]()
![]()
Eric would put the feed on the back of the mean one so that the other ones could eat. ![]()
![]()
![]()
Then it was time to ride some animals…![]()
Then Eric attacked… can we see the trend on this day? Eric was beating up on everyone haha.![]()
Ducky races were neat. This was actually different I never saw it before but you would pump the water up and then it would push the ducks around the corner and down. Whoever got there first one. Except they usually got stuck in the curve. haha
All of these great events led up to the real reason we were there:
CORN MAZE!
The theme was Robin Hood. They had 4 sections labeled in different color tape. In each section there would be a certain amount of clues you would need to get. ![]()
![]()
Pictures… and words. In the word section they also had a scramble. You can see the circled letters they were. y-s-i-g-r-u the clue was _ _ _ _ _ _. You figure it out! It was Robin Hood’s enemy. and no cheating please! (:
We pretty much followed the rules of the maze…except this one time:![]()
Caught in the action. haha! (:
The maze took us about 2 hours. It was a lot of fun though after the boys stopped throwing corn! {Which I found in like all of my pockets once I got to work}![]()
![]()
![]()
After the maze we hung out with the other animals.![]()
The turkey scared me. He was definitely mean and weird looking. Not a fan… at all!![]()
![]()
We killed some more time by browsing around what other awesome things they had to offer. Look there’s Katie on the tractor! (:
Then it was time for Super Swine Speedway.![]()
A couple of times a day they have pig races and boy oh boy were we excited to see it. We got there early {2 minutes before} got front row seats and placed money down on our pig. Ready… Set… GO
My pig won of course. Sorry about your luck Eric but maybe you should’ve fed him before racing him? Just a thought. ![]()
![]()
Couple photos with the cow.
There was one last big thing we had to do before we left….![]()
![]()
HAYRIDE to the PUMPKIN PATCH!![]()
![]()
![]()
Eric and I found this little guy… Until Eric found this HUGE one and wanted him to. So we returned this one for a big one and a small one.
{Don’t worry Dad I told Eric that if he couldn’t carry it he couldn’t get it! }![]()
![]()
Katie and Yohe also found their winners! (:![]()
![]()
This trip was so much fun!
![]()
![]()
Of course we couldn’t leave without a few goofy pictures!
Thanks Katie and Yohe for inviting us. It was a great way to spend our Sunday! (:
BTW: The answer to the trivial question: Sir Guy.
{Yah we won some free Wendy Frostys for finishing the maze and getting all of the pieces to the puzzle!
Questions: How long before Halloween are you going to pick your pumpkins? Do you go to a patch or just buy them at a store? Do you like corn mazes? Do you usually go to themed ones? If so, What are they?
