#MIMM: PA Bloggers Do It Better

I couldn’t think of a catch title so I figured that one would work (:
Today is Marvelous In My Monday! Special thanks to Katie {also a PA Blogger} for hosting!

What do I think is so marvelous you might ask?
Well I would have to say PA Bloggers! (: DUH!

On Friday I had a the great opportunity of meeting some awesome ladies/man in the Susquehanna Valley area that also blog!

Lauren was kind enough to organize the dinner at Fusion Fire which is an Asian-fusion restaurant in the Camp Hill Area.

I was so excited to meet some new bloggers especially Karen who I have been following for awhile now!
Also in attendance were Lauren and Sara who I met at HLS! (:
and some new people that I haven’t met before Jess, Evan and Sara, and Erica.

Lauren worked with the owners of the restaurant to put together and awesome menu for us. I was really excited when she sent us a preview in e-mail a couple of weeks before hand!

First we started with some appetizers.

Summer Rolls
(Non-fried spring roll wrapped in rice paper with shrimp, vermicelli, cilantro served with sesame dressing)

Spicy Rock Shrimp Tempura
(Lightly battered shrimp tempura tossed in a spicy cream sauce)

Larb Chicken
(Thai Style Chicken Salad with onion, scallion, lemongrass, cilantro in chilli lime dressing)

Then some entrees from the Sushi Bar:

Tropical Roll
(Shrimp tempura, mango, coconut inside topped with spicy tuna, crunchy, avocado)

Twister Roll
(Spicy crab inside, salmon, mango, avocado outside topped with red caviar)

Catepillar Roll
(Cooked) (Eel, Shrimp, Egg inside with shredded crab, avocado outside topped with seaweed)

and to close up Entrees from the Kitchen:

Pad Thai Veggie and Tofu
(Gluden free thai rice noodle with eggs, tofu, veggies, bean sprouts topped with crushed peanuts)

Mango Shrimp
(Fresh mango, bell pepper, onion in spicy mango sauce)

Wow! let me tell you we ate a lottt of food and it was all so delicious!

I think all the sushi was my favorite. I couldn’t just pick one amazing dish.
A special thanks to the owners Vivian and Frank! They were great!

Some people left a little early {it was getting pretty late} but 5 of us closed the restaurant.
I think we could’ve kept talking for hours but we didn’t want to hold them up any longer.

Lauren was so cute putting together the outing. She even brought conversation cards that started some conversations. One person would read the card and then we would go around the table and answer it. It sparked up a lot of conversation and I think we only used 2 or 3 of them.

It was fun once again to be in an environment where it was ‘normal’ to take a picture of everything that was coming to the table haha and to connect with people that get the whole blogging thing. I also like it because it was more intimate than 150 women in a room.

Erica was so sweet and made little gifts for everyone! That was so nice!

and Sarah and Evan gave us some of their granola that they make. {Mine is already pretty much finished. I will have to go to the market this week to grab more because I love it! Those two are definitely inspiring.}
