Wow…. so I didn’t blog yesterday! It has been awhile since that has happened huh? Usually I’m posting twice a day. I was okay with it though.
I was supposed to work a double yesterday after working 10 hours on Sunday until 12:15 am Monday morning. I went to work at 11 am and my boss told me that I should just leave at 5:30pm after my first shift! DONE! I was so tired. Seriously working 5 days sometimes is just so stressful that 6, 7, or 8 like I’m doing this week just drains you. I knew if I stayed until 11:30pm I would’ve been just as tired for Tuesday and Wednesday.
When I got home Eric was making dinner for us. {so sweet!} He made some ham, rice, and veggies. I forgot to take a picture because I was just so hungry haha! Afterwards I came to bed and slept… slept… and slept… from like 7pm-10pm. {Told you I was tired!} I had to force myself out of bed because I knew I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night if I didn’t. Perfect!

Now that the Olympic Games are over. {I’m happy and sad at the same time. No more work until 12:30 am but now there is nothing on tv.} It is time to update you guys on the Virtual Games I signed up to do!
Remember last month when I told you I was going to do them?
What you had to do was during 10 days of the Olympics {when the track and field part of the games started} is finish:
100m (.062 mile)
200m (.124 mile)
400m (.25 mile)
800m (.50 mile)
1500m (.93 mile)
5000m (3.1 miles)
10,000m (6.2 miles)
Marathon (26.2 miles) {you can break this up during the 10 days}
Well I did it! I was off to a rough start since I didn’t run at all during our trip to AC. I completed most of the sprints one morning so that took a good amount out of the mix and I counted every step I ran into the marathon part haha.
It was a lot of fun to do this. I loved comparing my numbers to the pros. {they blew me away obviously}
I already updated you on my 10K that I ran for part of it. {Just click the link above to see how I did and what I bought myself afterwards (: } Now I’m going to update you on my sprints compared to the pros! {Golds of course}
| Distance | Me | Pros |
| Women’s 100m | 16.9 | 10:75 |
| Women’s 200m | 38.6 | 21:88 |
| Women’s 400m | 1:37.9 | 49:55 |
| Women’s 800m | 4:04.10 | 1:56.19 |
Well compared to the Pros I wasn’t that good haha but I’m happy with my times. I guess if I came close I would’ve been in London all week huh? (:
After I finished all of the runs I had to dress up in my Red, White and Blue and pose for a picture with my timecard to submit to Jess.
Just a special thank you to Jess for holding this Virtual Run. It was fun. Next time though I’ll just have to get some more people to run them with me! Competition is always nice! (:
