You know what I forgot to add in my last post? My workout for yesterday! Uh Duh! I was pretty proud of myself. I didn’t really want to run my “long run” that was scheduled for yesterday and well I kept pushing it off and pushing it off. I was going to go and run it while Eric played softball but I had no motivation. I’d rather sit there and watch Eric’s games on a nice Sunday night but as soon as we got home {around 8pmish} I didn’t step inside the door I just got out of the car and started to run! 3.5 Miles. I ran it in a 9:09 pace. It was beautiful out and I’m glad I got my butt moving to do it! You always feel better after a run… Promise!
Today I got up and headed to the gym. My running schedule said it was either a rest day or a regular workout day. So I decided I wanted to lift some weights. I started with 20 minutes on the elliptical which I love because I can get a jump start on checking all of my stuff including email, facebook, twitter, google reader, etc. Those 20 minutes help the rest of my morning a wholeeeeeee bunch! (:
I then headed over to the free weights and picked up some 8 pounders. This is what my workout looked like.
I did these in Super Sets going through them twice.
Superset- You would do lunges, then should press right after one another. Then repeat that set again before moving on.
Lunges. {15 each legs, holding 8 lbs in each hand}
Shoulder Press. {15 each arm 8 lbs in each hand}
Bicep Curls. {15 each arm 8 lbs in each hand}
Tricep Extensions. {15 reps 12 lbs}
Leg Press. 70 lbs {10 reps x2}
2 other machines {10 reps x2}
100 Situps {different types}
60 sec plank
Next thing you know there were firefighters at the gym. haha. ![]()
I have no idea what they were doing. They were hanging out in the cycling room. Weird.
Oh well then I left, went home, took a shower, and it was time for breakfast!
I was super excited for breakfast… why you may ask… well because my wonderful step-mom got me this:![]()
PB2! I was so excited to dig in and try it. I’ve seen it on so many blogs and to finally have some was perfecto! ![]()
PB2 is a powdered peanut butter that has 85% less fat than regular peanut butter… think its perfect yet? well it is. It tasted exactly like peanut butter. I was so surprised.
You just mix water with it and you have peanut butter!![]()
I put it on top of my oatmeal, chobani, blueberry, cereal mix and it was a perfect addition! I can’t wait to try the chocolate kind after I’m done with the regular! Thanks Carol! (:![]()
I headed to work which was a pretty easy day. I was quite surprised.
Now I am home. Eric had a softball game so I ate dinner by myself. Since we are going to the beach this weekend we are just eating stuff in the house. So I made myself a Lean Cusine. {lasagna and chicken} ![]()
I was in the mood for some pasta which was perfect since we had some in the freezer.
Now I’m just going to hang out wait for Eric to get home and watch the Bachelorette tonight! (:

Yay for The Bachelorette!
I prefer plain peanut flour over PB2 because I eat a ton of it. I put it in pancakes, smoothies, yogurt or just rolled up in a tortilla or something. Glad you finally tried it out!
