Today was a busy morning! I got up and had breakfast. My usual: Chobani, Banana, and some Granola. Eric went off to a softball tournament. I went to the grocery store with my mom. Then we came back and cooked. {I’ll show you the recipe in a second}

Then it was time to take the dogs for a walk. They had a great time!
Harleyyy looks like I am going way to slow for him. {he is the wild child when it comes to walks. Hunter walks perfectly beside you.}
Now onto the recipe!
My mom has about a dozen go to recipes she makes.
One of them Pot Roast.

Yummy. Nothing like a big pot of food!

Ingredients:
2.5 lb Chuck Roast
12 oz Brussel Sprouts
1 lb bite size Carrots
8 oz sliced Mushrooms
5 Potatoes
1 Sweet Onion
18 oz Beef Gravy
Water
Salt and Pepper
The directions are pretty easy.

Wash everything off.

Cut the Brussel Sprouts, Onion and Potatoes.

Place it all on top of the Roast and add the carrots and mushrooms.

Add salt and pepper {as much as you want} and the gravy. Then fill up the gravy jar twice with water and dump them in.

Close the lid and put it in the oven.

Cook at 325 degrees for about 3 hours.
Thats it! When 3 hours are up you got a large pot of yuminess! This recipe was seriously so easy! So if you are looking for something to try tonight! This is it! (:
Questions: Have you had pot roast before? Do you add different things? What is some of your go to recipes?

I remember that my Mom used to make pot roasts growing up and reading your post makes me recall how delicious it made the whole house smell! I’m going to have to make a “roast” sometime soon…but since I don’t eat much meat I’ll have to figure out some veggie alternative. This sounds yummy!
Yum I love pot roast! That would be a great Sunday meal in our house, definitely planning that for an upcoming weekend
I haven’t had pot roast in a long time! I remember it being one of the meals my parents made that I wasn’t a fan of! haha BUT over the years I’ve come to like a lot of things I “wasn’t a fan of” when I was younger!
Yummmm! My mom makes pot roast too and it is delicious. I need a pan big enough so I can try it myself haha
