A couple of months ago I won a SPIbelt in a giveaway. {SPI stands for Small Personal Item belt.}
I honestly never used it though until this winter hit!
Usually my fit gear for when I run outside consists of very few extras. Last spring/summer/fall I would wear a cell phone holder {you know those ones that connect around your bicep/tricep area}, my cellphone and headphones. As you can see not a lot of fitgear wearing. During the winter though I can never fit my cellphone holder around my arm. I am wearing layers and layers and layers and honestly it just doesn’t fit. A couple of times I tried to wear it like at my elbow area lets just say that didn’t work out as planned either. Then I got smart and was like ‘oh wait I have a SPIbelt’ great thinking Danielle. I used it for a couple of runs during the winter now and it is perfect! It fits everything in what looks like just a little belt you wear around your waist!
I can fit my key, my cellphone, food, gosh probably even a water bottle in that thing. I love how it just expands and expands and expands! It is the perfect fit for a winter or anytime run really!
After Christmas my fit gear on runs has changed. I now have a heart rate monitor watch and a garmin watch which will probably get rid of that whole problem that I can’t fit my arm in the cellphone holder BUT I now need a space to just hold my cell phone! I don’t like to go anywhere without it right?!
Questions: Have you ever used a SPIbelt before? Do you use certain fit gear on runs during different seasons?

I have a pink SPIbelt and I love it! You’re right — it really does expand as much as necessary to fit whatever you need to bring on a run!

I’ve been wanting one and the hubs got me a gift card to the local running store for Christmas…I’ll be buying one before my half marathon next month!

I am thinking of getting one tomorrow actually. I am not sure I could wear them during the summer (usually wear a sports bra) but right now with longer shirts…I really need one so I can carry my phone.
