Surprise Baby Shower and Secret Date

Yesterday was an extremely busy day! That was fine with me though. Keep my weekends busy and fun! (:

We had a surprise baby shower for my moms boyfriends daughter in law. I love baby showers they are so cute. My mom wanted me over early to help set up {even though she had everything done by the time I got there lol} and she wanted me to pick up some balloons. Well I went to Party City and fell in love with this $9.99 balloon haha.


The bear was actually holding onto the umbrella. I couldn’t get a good picture of them both together because of the light coming in through the window. Isn’t it adorable?

She opened gifts. Look at one of the gifts I made her:

We ate:

My mom got a wrap tray {I got chicken salad} and a fruit tray from a nearby grocery store, she made the macaroni salad, and then there were chips and stuff.

The cake though was definitely the best part of the meal that day.

My mom just took a plate with her to the cake place and they made it on the cake. Isn’t it adorable? Well check out the inside:

We don’t know if they are having a boy or a girl so my mom got pink and blue layers inside. That is such a good idea! (:

Next came Eric’s Secret Date for the month. I took him to a restaurant called Ice House first. It was an adorable place.

It was like a house turned into restaurant.

Eric was excited! (:
He chowed down on potato soup and I ate a thing of bread before our main courses came out.

I wasn’t a big fan of the bread. It was extremely hard and I guess I just like my bread soft.

For the main course I got a Fruit and Nut Salad with Champagne Vinaigrette

It was delicious.
Eric got the Fried Haddock and Mac and Cheese

I was a happy camper and full afterwards!

Our next stop for the date: Hollywood Casino.

The bf is a gamblin man.
              
I started on penny slots then moved to deuces are wild which is where I won all my money! $10.03 Since I won something I had to stop. Eric lost all of his but good try babs!

It was a good secret date.
On today’s plate I have lunch for fathers day, my nails done, grocery shopping, cleaning, running, and to try the new FROYO PLACE pretty much next door to us! (:
Busy Busy day before another week of work starts! {Only a 4 day week though! (:}
