Today is Sweaty Sunday before I get to that I have a question for you guys. I see some changes coming to It’s A Harleyyy Life not different topics maybe just different day to day things. One of the things I was thinking about changing is showing you my workouts. Would you rather see the workout I did that day or save them for Sunday like this? Please feel free to let me know in the comments below!
Okay. Sweaty time!
Monday we worked on Back Squats. I really pushed this skill. The first 3 I did at 75lbs the last one I did at 85lbs. I had the trainer stand behind me for the last one because I was a little nervous to do it alone. She didn’t have to help though! Woot Woot!

The WOD definitely kicked butt! We did 1 minute of each of the 4 exercises and then had 1 minute of rest before doing another round. We ended up with 3 rounds. My goal was to get 100 each round. The first one I ended up with 112. The second 102. The third 91. Pretty close. I still broke 300 which I was happy about! The Pushups were definitely the worst. I would do half of my numbers in Situps.
On Tuesday we worked on Deadlifts. I ended up lifting 103lbs. This was actually the first time I ever used a ‘girls’ bar {33lbs}. Usually I use a 15lb bar. My PR before my accident I was up to 135lb’s.

For the WOD I used a purple and red strap for pullups and 15 lbs for dumbells. I actually did all of my single arm snatches with my right hand which definitely doesn’t help my left but oh well! I ended the 5 rounds in 10:28.
Wednesday we worked on Squat Cleans. 2 reps on each minute for 6 minutes. I ended up doing 45lbs.

This WOD was pretty awful though. For the handstand pushups I just kicked up into a handstand and then came down on my head. Wallballs right after sucked. This was timed.
On Thursday I had to go into work early so ended up not going to CrossFit.
Friday the skill was Rope Climb. This was the first time I even attempted to do one of these and it definitely is tough. I can’t wait to practice it more though. There are some people at the box that can do the entire rope in one climb! CRAZY! One day… one day.

I really liked this WOD. I seem to like the WOD’s that consist of lifting weights instead of running all of the place. I started by adding 10lbs each round and then when I got to 55lb I stopped. It was freezing cold and snowing during the run which wasn’t that fun but I do like watching the sun come up as I go out for the runs! My weight ended because of my cleans. I just couldn’t get a 60lb clean up. I really need to practice my form on that one. My squat and push press are strong though.
Saturday: It was really cold I decided a run was not in my future. Oh well.
Here is my plan for this week:
Sunday: Rest Day
Monday: 6am WOD
Tuesday: 6am WOD
Wednesday: 6am WOD
Thursday: 6am WOD
Friday: 6am WOD
Saturday: 2 mile Run
Sunday: Rest Day
I will probably take another rest day in there somewhere. We shall see how the week unfolds.
Questions: What was your favorite workout this week? Do you like seeing all of my workouts in one day or would you like it daily?

My favorite workouts this week was my long run yesterday and Bob Harper’s Kettlebell workout!
I love KB workouts! They are always so tough and you can do so much with them!
Great looking workouts. I am under the weather right now so only READING about working out!
Hope you feel better!
One of my favorite workouts from the week was a Jazzercise class that I taught on Thursday evening We have a lot of new students that joined at the beginning of the year and the class was full of energy and the students had a blast! It’s always rewarding to see them having fun and enjoying their workout!
I have never been to a jazzercise class it sounds like fun though!
I really enjoy seeing your workouts on Sunday’s. I think it’s a perfect post, and gets others motivated to start their week off on the right foot.
Thanks Jessie! (:
As always-another great week!
I love seeing the summary at the end of every week! Thanks for linking up too! xo
