It is another edition of Sweaty Sunday!
I had a great workout week!
Monday: 6AM CrossFit. We did 1 Rep Max of Power Cleans. I got a new PR of 70lb.

The WOD was fun but was pretty awful. I loaded my back squat with 65lb and I could definitely feel it during the 3rd round and on! The hollow rocks get you right in the abs! It is a good feeling afterwards but during it kills! Such a great workout!
Tuesday: 6 PM CrossFit. Our skill for the day was Push Press. I love doing Push Presses. We did 2 reps 5 times. I got up to 63lb. {I even used the black womens bar which isn’t usual for me! (: }

The WOD was another tough one. It was the first time I di da grasshopper which was kind of like mountain climbers but instead of bringing your knee up and down you bring it across your body. {another ab workout} I got out of breath fast on these. I did hold a 30 second handstand though once! The other two times I had to come down a couple of times because my arms were tired after the Grasshoppers!
Wednesday: Rest Day. They did Barbara. If you know that workout you know it was probably really tough!
Thursday: 6AM CrossFit. The skill of the day was Pistols. I wasn’t actually looking forward to doing them at all but once I was doing them I found out I could do it and now its one of my favorite skill exercises! HAHA! There are several ways that you can modify these to get them. The only way I could do them is if my one heal is on a 5lb training weight. One day I will be able to do it just standing!

I loved this WOD because I was good at it. I don’t know if it was because I had a Rest Day the day before and that I was just well rested to get up and go after it but I rocked this one.
Friday: 6AM CrossFit. The skill was 1 Rep Max Front Squat. I hit another PR by 40lbs. I’m not up to 103lb. Which is pretty sweet! I tried 108lbs twice but I just couldn’t get it! It was a lot of fun getting to the one rep max though.

This WOD on the other hand was probably the worst WOD I ever did. For some reason I can do double unders awesome when there is no pressure but put them in a WOD and I can’t even do 1. They put me so far behind that I only got 1.5 rounds in the second part of the WOD. So lame!
Saturday: Rest Day
Sunday: My plan is to do this TribeSport Exercise.

I always wanted to try Crossfit because it seems pretty intense. If my knee allows it, I definitely want to try it once everything heals up!
My favorite workout this week was doing two circuit workouts I found on Cortney’s blog. I never do circuit workouts and it was nice to throw in something different!
Hmmmmm the Tribesports workout looks great! I can’t wait to hear how it goes!
