It’s another edition of Sweaty Sunday!
Monday: Noon Crossfit
Skill: DB Thrusters 5×5 I used 20lb Dumbbells
I loved this WOD. It was challenging but it was all workouts that I liked doing. For the Ring Dips I used a blue band. Next time I’ll have to go to a red one because honestly they were a little easy. By the third round I wasn’t feeing any fatigue with it. However the 400 m run was a bit rough. It was the first time I ran outside with cold temperatures and boy was it cold on Monday!
Tuesday: Noon Crossfit
Skill: Kipping Pushups and Double Unders.
I’m getting the double unders. I still can’t do a bunch of them fast enough though. Kipping pushups I just worked on the swing and coming off the bar with my hands. They are rough. ![]()
This WOD was tough! I think it was because it was the first time we really had lifting in our WOD’s {except on partner WODS} I started with 40lbs but once I hit the first round of Push Presses it was rough so I went down to 30lbs. I loved the WOD after it was done but not when I was doing it haha. I finished in 10:30.
Wednesday: Noon CrossFit
Skill: Hang Power Cleans 6×1. I was so happy that I finally got these down and honestly I think I just had to look past how stupid it feels/looks and just do it. For 4 rounds I did 55lb and for 2 I did 60lbs. It felt good after finally getting it!
WOD: Death of Burpees. {This one was awful} You go for 15 minutes. On the first minute you do 1 burpee then rest until the second minute and then you do 2. It definitely seems easy in the beginning but trust me once you are doing 9 and having very little to rest it gets rough. I went to the 13th minute and only got 10 done. So I finished with 12 rounds +10.
When I saw this WOD on the website the night before I actually considered skipping it haha but I knew I just had to do it. After rocking the Skill part I really wanted to do all 15 rounds but like I said before it was rough!
Thursday: Rest Day
Friday: 6AM CrossFit
Skill: Sotts Press 6×3 25lb. These were hard. They definitely make you notice what you have to work on.
WOD:
I tried to do pullups with just a red band but I got tired really fast and had to grab a purple one too half way through the first part of the WOD. I hate jump and switch lunges. The first one I got 4.
The second group I liked. I did hand release pushups. I like them better because if I do pushups how I used to do pushups I would do them wrong in the crossfit minds so I just focus on hand release. I got 7 1/2 +11 on the second group.
Saturday: Rest Day. I couldn’t move probably because I ate so bad on Friday.
Sunday: 2 Mile Run
This Weeks Plan:
Monday- Noon CrossFit
Tuesday: Noon CrossFit
Wednesday: Noon CrossFit
Thursday: Noon CrossFit
Friday: Rest Day
Saturday: Team CrossFit/Running
Sunday: Rest Day/Running
I’m really digging the Noon CrossFit. It is like perfect for being awake and my body feeling the best. When I go in the morning my body isn’t as flexible as if I go later. Plus with the colder weather it is harder to get out of bed in the morning.

Awesome job on all the WODs. That’s nice to be able to do them all in the middle of the day, as I can definitely see how you would be more flexible then.
I know! I hate when my work schedule gets mixed up and I have to go in the morning haha. the afternoon is definitely better!

ugh some of them were haha! but it always feels better afterwards!(:
one word: DANG.
more words: I need to try me some crossfit.
Wow for all the Crossfit! I tried it for a month with a groupon! I loved it! I wish it wasn’t soo expensive, love the feeling afterwards!
it is definitely expensive but worth every penny!
Wow girl.
When I tried Cross Fit – for like 2 weeks before I got injured they wouldn’t let me do any box jumps because I am so clumsy I kept flying off. So I just stepped up and over.
I also could never do double unders, T2B, or wallstands… I was a reject!
