It’s Wedding Fridayyyy!
Throughout my Wedding Pinterest pins I have come up with a lot of things that I absolutely need on the big day that I don’t want to forget…
one of them an Emergency Kit!
The other day a blog that I actually read posted this picture of some things that should be inside. I then searched several Wedding websites to come up with my own list of essentials. This is what I came up with:
and then some other extras to keep around…
Granola bars are probably the most important thing on this list to keep around me because I’d probably get crabby if I’m hungry haha.
Questions: What do you think is the most important thing to keep by you on your wedding day? Is there something I’m missing? If you are married, what is the one thing that you wish you would’ve had that you didn’t?

This is probably because I’ve never planned a wedding, but I have no idea what you’d do with chalk on your wedding day…
Just googled. What if my wedding dress is more of a cream color? :-p
hahahaa! you are too cute! Maybe there is a cream chalk color?! haha just get a whole thing of sidewalk chalk and experiment! (:
Your post reminded me of a friend’s wedding I attended last fall. A month or so prior to the wedding, she and a friend (who was also planning a wedding) got together and put together the most comprehensive emergency kit EVER. There was so much stuff, they had to buy a fishing tackle box to put it in. It was phenomenal to see what went into it! I know my friend made use of a few items, such as safety pins, krazy glue, and bobby pins. Some other things in there: Red Bull in case she needed a jolt of energy and slippers (not the big fuzzy kind!) to pull on when her feet needed a break.
I remember staring at it in awe and even took a picture (can send to you if you want to see it!)
haha this is so cute! Slippers are an awesome idea. I’m sure my feet will be tired in no time! It was good that the two girls could do it together! (:
Someone to keep an eye on the groom!
Amen to that… up for the challenge?
I talked to UK and he said he has him under control! Sorry, just catching up!
That looks like a pretty comprehensive list! I honestly can’t think of anything that I would have really wanted with me on my wedding day that I didn’t have. We put a basket with many of those things in the ladies restroom at the reception so that all our guests would have those things available to them if they needed them.
that is a great idea too! I’ll have to write that down!
I love your wedding friday posts, they’re always so helpful to me! This is a great list!
Hi, cutie! I actually did not have an emergency kit which was a good thing since I ended up not needing anything! Yup, I’m a low-maintenance kind of gal puahhaha. Not really but on that day I was…surprisingly. I just looked at your list and am a lil’ confused by some of them…smelling salt? chalk? And say NO to breath mints! I just learned in my class that they actually produce acid in your stomach that makes your breath smell even worse! go for the sugar free gum but then if you’re going to be eating granola the whole time, brush your teeth
I guess smelling salt if you pas out and chalk if you get something on your white wedding dress! (: But I am definitely a gum person not a mint! So that is great to know! Thanks girl! (:
