Like I told you on Tuesday I finally got to give Lynda her gift to ask her to be my Maid of Honor. She was the last person I had to still ask. Since she lives 3 hours away I didn’t have the chance to give it to her but I knew that I would be seeing her soon so I didn’t mail it like I did Jamies.
I wanted to do something cute to ask them to be apart of my wedding day. I like to do crafts like this so it was right up my alley. I looked at my wedding boards on pinterest {yah everyone has one even before they get engaged} and came across this:![]()

How cute right? That’s exactly what I was thinking as well! So before you call me out that you saw this on Pinterest I admitted to it. Right Steph?
I started by going to AC Moore and Michaels for the box stuff.
I already had the ink pad from Christmas but I bought these stamps. I was looking for a cheap stamp so I got these ones but I wouldn’t suggest it. I would get the wooden ones. They worked but were a pain in the butt.
I stamped “will you be my” on the box. The stamp didn’t fully get the ink on the box so I had to fill the letters in with sharpie. Which means the stamp pretty much ended up being an outline of the letter.
I let these dry while I waited for my shirts to come in the mail.
I ordered the shirts off of etsy.
I was so excited for them to come in the mail. They actually didn’t take that long at all. I got a Bride one for me, Maid of Honor one for Lynda, and two Bridesmaid ones for Steph and Jamie.
I couldn’t wait to try on mine.
Aren’t they super cute? They are a little small so I wouldn’t ever want to dry it. I can’t wait to wear it on my wedding day and probably sleep in it 1000 times before then. haha.
Once I got the shirts in the mail I could finally finish the boxes. I went to the store to get some extra things to put inside.
I changed some of the stuff from the DIY project I pinned on pinterest. One of them was the drinks. I couldn’t find small champagne bottles at the liquor store so I got wine bottles instead. Once I found yellow ones I fell in love because Yellow and Grey are my colors. It also came in this cute little four pack which means I could have one too! (:
I also got a pink paper weight diamond to put in the boxes.
Now it was time to assemble the rest.
I started by taping white ribbon down to the bottom. {You will see what that was used for in a little}
Then I put some yellow tissue paper down to fit inside the box.
It was time to fill it up.
It was a perfect fit!
Next it was time to close it up…
and tie a bow.
Once I closed the lid…
I tied a bow around it and added the first initial of their name so I didn’t give them the wrong ones. Since some were different sizes, some shirts said different things, etc.
They were super cute and I’m glad I made them. The girls loved them. Lynda couldn’t even wait to put hers on.
Yay! So meet the ladies that will be standing beside me on one of the biggest days of my life: Lynda my Maid of Honor on the Right, Steph one of my Bridesmaids on the Left, and
Jamie my other Bridesmaid. {this picture is from college}
A blonde, brunette, and a red head. Perfect. haha.
